Subsea maintenance and compliance

Everyone has access to the same regulations yet some 3rd party companies still allow their customers to receive INCs.

At MR Deepwater Subsea we developed a subsea maintenance and compliance program based on the most stringent QA/QC requirements to ensure our customer’s operations comply with regulations and make incidents of non-compliance a thing of the past.

When you take your job as seriously as we do, compliance verification is more than just checking a bunch of boxes.

Can downtime be eliminated? YES, if your focus is in the right place!

Through extensive research of premature BOP downtime incidents to the level of detail that we do, we learnt that downtime is caused by one of the following major contributors:

  • Poor design
  • Poor quality manufacture
  • Incorrect installation
  • Incorrect commissioning
  • Incorrect operation
  • Unnecessary maintenance
  • Excessively invasive maintenance
  • Bad workmanship

We focus on the three major areas of subsea operations which can guarantee a reduction of downtime and improvement in operational performance: manufacturing and assembly, commissioning and FAT / SIT, and operations and maintenance.

Manufacturing and assembly

Downtime contributed to the OEMs can be prevented utilizing our comprehensive QA/QC programs. Our certified inspectors work with the OEMs to ensure that equipment is manufactured and installed as per the design criteria and meets industry standards.

Commissioning and FAT/SIT

The second phase of eliminating downtime is to ensure that all the equipment is commissioned correctly. Our team of Subsea Subject Matter Experts work directly with your crews to verify that all the equipment is 100% functional and fit for service prior to the start of your operations.

Operations and subsea maintenance

When it comes to operations and maintenance ensuring that crews are fully competent to perform their duties is a priority. Our surveyors work hand in hand with the rig crews to ensure that all the required maintenance is being completed and validated.

We focus on supporting our client’s operations and the lifecycle of the equipment. Our team of subsea maintenance Subject Matter Experts can provide support in the following areas:

  • Subsea Project Management
