Subsea training and competency development

The foundation for any strong organization is having highly trained and qualified staff. With the new release of BSEE’s well control regulations the focus on people and their abilities to perform their duties is at an all-time high.

We expect our crews to learn through basic subsea training courses and “pencil whipped” OJT programs.

Our experts are seasoned Subsea Surveyors with a deep knowledge of the equipment. They bring unmatched industry expertise and hands-on experience with contractors and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Our dedicated Subject Matter Experts have a minimum of 15 years of subsea experience. They bring comprehensive domain knowledge to help customers improve workflows and standardize processes. We have a premier capacity to continuously monitor equipment, identify issues and resolve them in the shortest possible time.

In-depth expertise behind big data

Our Subject Matter Experts have a direct, hands-on experience with the equipment and a deep understanding of what happens in the field. They know the complexities and variables associated with real-time BOP monitoring.

Our experts help us add a human face behind AI and big data analytics, allowing us to proactively monitor system changes and anomalies instead of reacting to algorithm outputs. They bring human-AI symbiosis through data analytics and understanding the challenges related to AI-only reliance.

Subsea training and competency programs

Our subsea training and competency programs identify the gaps in crew knowledge and delivers individualized training based on the specific needs of each crew member.

Subsea management training

This industry- first training program focuses on the fundamentals of running a subsea department. Topics include department administration, planning and execution of between-well-maintenance plans, budget preparation, and proven methods for training and developing the junior team members.

Subsea competency assessments

This proprietary competency-based assessment program identifies gaps in crew competencies by utilizing methods perfected by the US Navy’s submarine qualification boards where crew members are assessed on four levels of knowledge:

  1. Demonstrating knowledge and understanding
  2. Critical thinking skills
  3. Problem solving skills
  4. Performance of procedures and demonstrating techniques
